Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for a teacher for grades F-3 to Augustenborg School!

You will be placed in our primary school, grades F-3, where you will be part of a work team. You will teach various subjects, and mentorship is included in the position. Together with the team, you will plan, implement, and follow up on the effects of teaching on students' learning. You are responsible for distributing your teaching resources based on students' needs so that all students achieve the goals in the school's subjects. There, you will educate and support students in their social and academic development. You challenge students to take their own initiatives, develop their interests, and take responsibility for themselves and others.

Your role may also involve mentorship for some of our students. As a mentor, you have specific responsibility for a group of students, allowing you to closely follow their academic development and personal growth. As a mentor, you inform and keep the student's guardians updated on the student's academic progress through regular development conversations.

Qualifications

You who are applying are a licensed teacher with qualifications for teaching grades F-3. It is an advantage to have qualifications to teach Swedish as a second language. If you have previous experience working as a teacher, we see it as an asset. The school works on developing Genre Pedagogy and Sigma Mathematics. It is advantageous if you have knowledge and experience in this.

You have a good understanding of and knowledge about the school's governing documents and can effectively use them in your daily work. Furthermore, you have good didactic and pedagogical skills, allowing you to lead and organize your work to create a conducive learning environment for our students throughout their school day.

You are easy to collaborate with and are both flexible and curious. In the classroom, you have clear leadership. You are a team player.
